Autumn Ridge — Fairly new sub-division situated approximately 10 miles north of Goldsboro in Wayne County.  It’s on Wayne Memorial Drive – just 3 miles from 13N and is a short commute to Greenville.

Carolyn’s Ridge — One of Sasser Home Builders developments. This community is surrounded by beautiful farm land and is located approximately 10 miles north west of Goldsboro in Wayne County on Pikeville-Princeton Rd. Commuters will love this new development as it is just 3 miles from Hwy 70 in Princeton (Johnston Co.) & 3 miles from Hwy 581. Therefore it is a short commute to Clayton, Garner, Goldsboro, Wilson, and Raleigh. There are app. 92 lots in Carolyn’s Ridge with homes ranging between 1300 and 1800 square feet. The community was started in 2005 and is currently underway with several lots to choose from. It is located in the Northwest – Norwayne – CB Aycock School Districts as well.

Cedar Creek — A small subdivision approximately 5 miles north of Goldsboro on NC Hwy 111 (Patetown Rd).  Most of the homes were built in the late 90s or later.  The homes tend to be predominantly over 2000 sq ft.  It’s an easy commute into Goldsboro and to the base from Cedar Creek.

Cherry Grove — One of Sasser Home Builders older developments. This community is surrounded by beautiful farm land and is located approximately 10 miles north west of Goldsboro in Wayne County on Vail Road. Commuters will love this development as it is just 4 miles from Hwy 70 in Rosewood & 1 miles from Hwy 581. Therefore it is a fairly short commute to Clayton, Garner, Goldsboro, Wilson, and Raleigh. There are app. 50 lots in Cherry Grove with most homes ranging between 1300 and 1800 square feet. The community was started in the mid to late 90s. It is located in the Northwest – Norwayne – CB Aycock School Districts as well.

Colonial Acres — A small subdivision next to Colony Square that was built mainly in the early to mid 90s.  It’s just outside of town off of New Hope Rd. It’s a short commute to town and the base from here.  They’re both just outside the city; so only county taxes are a player and not both city and county taxes.

Fallingbrook — A medium to large subdivision approximately 5 miles north of Goldsboro and two miles west of NC Hwy 117 on Buck Swamp Road.  Most of the homes were built from the mid 90 on up.  The homes tend to be predominantly over 2000 sq ft.  It’s an easy commute into Goldsboro and to the base from Fallingbrook.

Goose Creek — This community is Sasser Home Builders largest development to date and is one of the premiere communities of Wayne County . This beautiful setting is located approximately 12 miles north of Goldsboro on Rose Rd. and Nor-Am Road in Pikeville, NC. It is in the Northwest-Norwayne-CB Aycock School District and is only 1/4 mile from Northwest Elementary School. Goose Creek is only 2 1/2 miles from Hwy 117 and that makes it a very reasonable commute to Goldsboro and the base. It’s only a half mile from Hwy 581 and that provides easy access to Hwy 70 and Hwy 95.  It usually takes between 17 to 20 minutes to get to most locations you would want to go to in nearby Goldsboro.

The community boasts of 162 beautiful lots and was started in 2003. Goose Creek is currently underway with several lots still left to choose from. The homes of the Goose Creek Community range between 1500 to 2700 square feet. Sasser has recently acquired additional acreage that is located on Hinnant Rd. It will serve as an extension of Goose Creek and will be accessible through the existing community as well as Hinnant Road. Construction on the development has recently begun.

Heron Creek — Medium sized sub-division, mainly built in the past 6 to 10 years.  It’s approximately 5 miles north of Goldsboro on Wayne Memorial Drive.  This sub-division is very popular with the military folks and turns over fairly easily.

Hillcrest Farm — This is an older subdivision in town and used to be where all the doctors lived.  The homes were mostly built in the mid to late 70s with a few newer exceptions.  It’s very convenient to town and is almost next door to the base.

Hunters Creek — Small sub-division northeast of Goldsboro just off of Hwy 13N.  The homes were mainly built between the late 90’s and now.  Well maintained community where everyone is friendly and waves to their neighbors.  There is a small lake inside the sub-division with several lake front homes.

Jacobs Ridge — A small subdivision that was built between 2000 and 2008.  It’s just outside of town off of Hwy 111N. It’s a short commute to town and the base from here, approximately 6 miles.

Marsh Landing — A small subdivision approximately 5 miles north of Goldsboro and two miles west of NC Hwy 117 on Buck Swamp Road.  Most of the homes were built from 2000 to 2005.  The homes tend to be predominantly over 1700 sq ft.  It’s an easy commute into Goldsboro and to the base from Marsh Landing.

Meadowbrook — Small sub-division east of Goldsboro just off of Hwy 70E.  The homes were mainly built between the late 90 and now.  Well maintained manufactured home community where everyone is friendly and waves to their neighbors.

Mils Manor — Small to mid sized sub-division.  It’s approximately 5 miles north of Goldsboro just off Wayne Memorial Drive in Saulston.  This sub-division is very popular with the military folks and turns over fairly easily.

Morgan Trace — A small subdivision approximately 5 miles north of Goldsboro and two miles west of NC Hwy 117 on Buck Swamp Road.  The homes tend to be predominantly over 1700 sq ft.  It’s an easy commute into Goldsboro and to the base.

Olde Mill Creek — A new subdivision approximately 5 miles north of Goldsboro and two miles west of NC Hwy 117 on Buck Swamp Road.  Most of the homes were built from 2012 to 2014.  The homes tend to be predominantly over 1700 sq ft.  It’s an easy commute into Goldsboro and to the base from Olde Mill Creek.

Peele Acres #4 — A community surrounded by beautiful farm land and is located approximately 2 miles north west of Goldsboro just off Perkins Rd on Rosewood Rd. Commuters will love this area as it is just 1 mile from Hwy 70 & 2 miles from Hwy 581. Therefore it is a short commute to Clayton, Garner, Goldsboro, and Raleigh. The community was developed mainly in the mid 90s and is a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is located in the Rosewood School District as well.

Peele Acres #1 — A community is located approximately 1 miles north west of Goldsboro just off Perkins Rd. Commuters will love this area as it is less than a mile from Hwy 70 & 3 miles from Hwy 581. Therefore it is a short commute to Clayton, Garner, Goldsboro, and Raleigh. The community was developed mainly in the mid 70s and is a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is located in the Rosewood School District as well.

River Edge Est — A community surrounded by beautiful farm land and is located approximately 10 miles north west of Goldsboro just off the Pikeville-Princeton Rd. Commuters will love this area as it is just 2 miles from Hwy 70 in Princeton (Johnston Co.) & 4 miles from Hwy 581. Therefore it is a short commute to Clayton, Garner, Goldsboro, and Raleigh. The community was developed mainly in the mid to late 90s and is a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is located in the Princeton School District as well.

River Haven — Small sub-division, mainly built in the late 90s just off of Hwy 70 W about 6 to 8 miles north west of Goldsboro.

Sevendales — A small “Executive” subdivision.  The homes tend to be over 2500 sq ft and some upwards towards 4000 sq ft.  It’s located just outside of town off of Hwy 111S and Dollard Town Road and is on the backside of Walnut Creek.  It’s a short commute to town and the base from here, approximately 5 miles.

Sheridan Forest — Small subdivision just off of HWY 111 south of Goldsboro.  Most of the homes were built in the mid 80s and are predominately brick.

South Haven — Older small subdivision in Dudley.

Sunridge — A new sub-division situated approximately 10 miles north of Goldsboro in  Wayne County.  It’s just off Hwy 13N on True Vine Rd and is a short commute to Greenville.

The Reach — A small wooded subdivision approximately 6 miles north of Goldsboro just off Buck Swamp Road on Perkins Rd.  Most of the homes were built in the mid to late 90s.  The homes tend to be predominantly over 1700 sq ft.  It’s an easy commute into Goldsboro and to the base from The Reach.

The Village — A small subdivision just outside of town off of Hwy 111N. It’s a short commute to town and the base from here, approximately 6 miles.

Willowbrook — This community is a Teachy Construction development and is one of the rapidly growing communities in Northern Wayne County.  This beautiful setting is located approximately 15 miles north of Goldsboro on Nahunta Road in Pikeville, NC.  It is in the Northwest-Norwayne-CB Aycock School District and is approximately 3 miles from Northwest Elementary School.  Willowbrook is only about 4 miles from the new Hwy 795 and that makes it a very reasonable commute to Goldsboro and the base.  It’s only a couple of miles from Hwy 581 and that provides easy access to Hwy 70 and Hwy 95.  It usually takes between 18 to 25 minutes to get to most locations you would want to go to in nearby Goldsboro.

Woodcroft — Approximately 5 miles north of Goldsboro on Wayne Memorial Drive.  This medium sized sub-division is very popular with the military folks and turns over fairly easily.
